No Fees Bank

Tangerine and PC Financial are both on-line bank which are no bank fees. After checking out the website of the two banks, I found there are some different areas of them. if let me choose one as my account bank, I prefer to Tangerine. The reasons are as follows:

1. Design and Content of website
From colour to layout, Tangerine let me feel more comfortable than PC Finance, as well as information is more clear and comprehensive. The highlight is a new conception "Tangerine Cafes" which can grasp your eyes, It is a big ideal! I think Tangerine's website is more professional.

2. Interest Rate
This is most important issue for people. Tangerine give a new client 2.1% interest rate of the first saving account for six months, plus $50 bonus. this is a big buck for people. On the Tangerine's website, it is easy to check all kind of interest rates. But on the  PC Financial's website, I can't find useful information like those.

3.ATM network
There are over 3,500 ABMs (Automated Banking Machines) on the Scotiabank® ABM Network including those at 7-Eleven, Quickie convenience stores, Cineplex Theatres and Couche-Tard , which are provided service for Tangerine clients.  Client of PC Financial can access to all President's Choice Financial or CIBC bank machines. In this aspect, there are no obviously different.

4. Promotions or Bonus
Tangerine give three promotions-"money" to three different group of clients, I think they are effective way to develop market. PC Financial says you can save $200 a year when you open an account.  I think the former has more attractive than the latter for people.

The website of Tangerine:

Mobile Cheque Deposit

Publish a list of instructions in a poster for newcomers who have never e-deposited a cheque before. Include a relevant picture.

Mobile Cheque Deposit is a new service provided by some banks. It means that people can deposit cheque by a mobile device anywhere and anytime, instead of lining up at site of bank. I think It is very convenient.
Suppose you are a client of RBC Bank, let me tell you how to use it by your smartphone. First of all, you should install App of "RBC Mobile" on your cellphone. The steps as follows:

Step 1: Sign into RBC Mobile and select "Deposit Cheque"(see pictures below).

Step 2: Take a picture of front and back of your cheque.

Step 3: Select one of your accounts and enter it.

Step 4: Check the cheque details and select "DEPOSIT NOW".

Step 5: Congratulations! Your cheque has been deposited. Remember, keep the cheque carefully for 5 business days and then you can destroy it.

Transcibe: How To Include Volunteering In The Resume

It is very important to list it just any other position, particularly if it's very much related to your career choice. So mention it is a voluteer position, how long you're working here ,definitely put down lots of details in term of what you're actually doing and the kind of tasks you're actually part of voluteering in the organization. that will essentially help the review of your resume, understand what you're doing at a voluteer and they will see it just as important as any of your other paid experiences as well.

Field Trip to the Job Fair

Last Thursday, we went to a Job Fair at North York memorial Hall. The Job Fair was opened from 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. We took subway and arrived here at 11:15 a.m. It took place at a big room. There were many  people who were job-seekers, and there were many exhibitors, including companies and education institutions. I interviewed with some exhibitions and got some brochures from them. Then we went to another room and listened a lecture about job.
After getting out of Job Fair, we went to North York Central Library. My teacher introduced the library to us and we had a look.
This is my first Job Fair in Canada.I found there were only two companies in the fair. Most of exhibitors were education institutions. So, if you want to go to college or get a certification. Maybe It is useful to you.
